Journalism 152 Section 2

I decided to do this particular cover because it was one of the few stories that I have covered as a photojournalist that interested me enough to further investigate the topic. Maybe it was because I was actually in the O.R., dressed in scrubs from head to toe; but who really knows.

  • This is a very professional looking cover. The photo is really what does it for me, did you take it? In any case, my only problem with it is the "p" in Philadelphia that covers the "m" underneath of it. It just seems like the "m" should be in front of the "p". The design is very good and really allows the picture to tell the story on it's own.

  • Yes I actually did take the photo also. I shoot for a few publications in the city.

  • The photo along with the design is really well done. I agree with Tom that out of all the designs posted, this is the most professional.

  • You've made a very professional-looking design, especially with the photograph you used. I think the title could have been moved up a little and the teaster text moved down to really give the image its full effect.

Also, did you take this photo? I was wondering if more than two people asked this question you might give a different answer.

  • well what if 3 people asked me? ha. but yes. I did shoot the photo. I am a photojournalist so sometimes I get out to take pictures of interesting things such as this.
